Considered a biblical and scientific expert on the mind, Dr. Leaf speaks to Christian and secular audiences worldwide, linking the scientific principles of the brain to spiritual, intellectual, and emotional issues.  Communicating in simple and practical ways, she brings clarity to the complex subjects of our brains and how we think,  and reminds us we can be “transformed by the renewing of our minds.”  Dr. Leaf and her husband, Mac, have four children.

She believes that if Jesus is real, raw, and revolutionary, we can be too! It’s time to get out of the box, color outside of the lines, and live counter-culturally. It’s time to live in the name of love.

Julie Teel is actively involved in the philanthropic efforts across Northern California and Nevada, including serving as a Trustee for Loyola Marymount University, A Board member for the northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter of Make – A – Wish, the National Salvation Army Advisory Board, Sutter Hospitals Foundation Board and the Tahoe Fund. Wife, mother, sister, aunt and daughter…next to God, family is the most important of all relationships and friendships. Has lived in the Sacramento region for over 25 year, calling it home.

Ride or die till about 10pm.  Passionate about organizing.  Most passionate about family-everything else is MEH. The Home Sort provides clients with sorted spaces that are modern and fresh.  We believe home organization can have both function and style, creating thought out spaces, simplifying the everyday while adding design to areas that are often overlooked.

Gail is a recently retired sales and marketing executive from the Bay Area. The author of two books, she is a self-described “organizational maven” who has approached her spiritual life from the same perspective.  Her most recent book, My Spiritual Journey, was developed as a balanced and visual way to chronicle and grow in our faith journey.  Wife, mother, and life-long student, she is passionate and committed to spiritual growth.  Gail has a green      thumb too.

Women’s Health and Wellness

Yarickza is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas.  A Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in numerous fields and is currently in Family Practice in the Sacramento Region. She is an active member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team which is designed to provide medical care during public health emergencies such as Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Maria. 

Yarickza’s true passion is women’s health and education, in her community and in underprivileged countries. Her philosophy of care has always been, “Care should be focused on the mental, spiritual, physical and social needs of the individual. My desire is to show Christ’s compassion, love and healing to every patient I come into contact with, whether they are a believer or not.”
